Community Q&A

Question 1: What’s my Linea allocation? I want a full refund for my Linea subscriptions as my Taiko subscription is not satisfactory. I had two nodes and received zero allocation. If this is legitimate, renew for free and there should be airdrops. Otherwise, it feels like a rug/pyramid scheme.

Answer: We understand your frustration and concerns. However, as a provider of node infrastructure, we can’t offer refunds, as power and bandwidth consumed by your node can’t be unused. We’re closely monitoring Linea’s developments and will update you on any airdrop announcements. As for Taiko, please refer to the detailed report provided below.

Question 2: I know payments were supposed to go out, but I have not received any form in my ETH wallet. Am I missing a step or do I need to do anything? I have a general sense that allocations aren’t likely to be paid out to everyone after what happened with Taiko.

Answer: If you are referring to Taiko, please open a ticket. If not, note that drops haven’t been announced yet, so please stay patient. Allocations and rewards depend on the specific criteria set by the projects, which we cannot control.

Question 3: What’s the status of distribution for my nodes? My active node time on my dashboard is pretty low. Is this over a 24-hour period, or the entire time I’ve had it running? I stopped paying for the Taiko node after a billing issue. Am I eligible for any tokens from Taiko for running my node, and if not, is there still a chance to be eligible in the future? I don’t understand why I didn’t get a Taiko airdrop.

Answer: Your dashboard displays active node time since the last update, not cumulative runtime. You can check your node's overall uptime percentage at status.noder.bot. If you received an email about your Taiko allocation, then you were eligible for the first round of airdrops. For future rounds, eligibility is determined by Taiko, and we cannot guarantee outcomes.

Question 4: What is the status of Taiko nodes since the drop? My node has not been fully synced for 60+ days. Is this just a front-end/dashboard issue? My Taiko node is stuck at 41.72%. Is this normal? Should I have received an airdrop or will I in phase 2?

Answer: Your node should be working fine. The latest update fixed dashboard (frontend) issues. If problems persist, open a ticket. As for the airdrop, eligibility for phase 2 is still open, and running nodes may benefit from future distributions.

Question 5: I am a Taiko Node owner since January and was not eligible for Taiko Airdrop season 1. My node has not worked properly and is inaccessible. What’s going on? None of my nodes have been functioning. I’ve reinstalled them several times, created tickets, and reached out on Discord but have been ignored. What should I do?

Answer: If your nodes are still not functioning after the recent update, please create a support ticket, and our team will assist you. We apologize for any delays in response and are actively working to improve our support channels by hiring a new customer service team and migrating the support system from Discord to our domain.

Question 6: The Taiko wallets link provided in the announcement doesn’t work, and I can’t verify if my wallet was registered as a node runner. Please provide proof. I have four Taiko nodes and four Linea nodes, but I don’t know why the dashboard doesn’t show what’s going on. Have I received the Taiko drop or not? If not, why?

Answer: The issue regarding the fee-payer wallet link has been fixed. Thank you for the heads-up. Please note that the list provides the wallets controlled by our team that have been set as “fee-payer” for the nodes. If this seems like a new topic to you, please refer to our announcements channel, as we explain it all there. Please note that the dashboard primarily displays node statistics and does not track airdrop eligibility.

Question 7: Just tell me where to put my money for the best odds of return at this point. What are the best opportunities, and should I stop running my Taiko node or not? How long will Linea take, and will I have to renew before that?

Answer: We don’t provide financial advice, but we’re always working to identify the most promising opportunities for our users. We do not offer projects we don’t believe in their potential. For current opportunities, we’re excited about our Aethir OTC and a new chain our dev team is working on automating. As for Linea, we’ll update you once we have new information.
