Taiko Testnet Drop
Firstly, we want to acknowledge our team’s hard work and dedication during the recent Taiko testnet drop.
The process of understanding how the drop happened, identifying eligible participants, and distributing approximately 650k to our winners has been an exhaustive but ultimately rewarding task.
Tackling the Issues Head-On:
- Proposer Node Eligibility: After thoroughly reviewing the information provided by Taiko, we found that not all node runners were eligible for airdrops. Despite this, Noder is proud to be the only Node-as-a-Service operator to secure allocations from nodes.
- Zero Sybil Wallets: Importantly, none of our clients’ wallets were on the leaked Sybil lists, reflecting the integrity of our operations.
- Proposer Rewards: About 30% of Noder clients’ proposers were rewarded, compared to 20% across all proposers, showcasing our commitment to maximizing your chances.
We understand this has been challenging, especially for those who didn’t receive the anticipated rewards.
We’ve fielded numerous questions and provided support through our Discord channel, and we appreciate your patience and trust while we navigated these complexities.
To our community members who didn’t receive rewards this time, we understand the frustration and disappointment.

Addressing Your Concerns
Here are some of the common questions we’ve received:
- Claim Site Showing Zero: If you see zero rewards on Taiko’s claim site, remember that each node has two associated wallets. For some nodes, the fee-payer wallet, which you can’t access, might be rewarded. Please share your IP in our Discord channel for further assistance.
- Node Inactivity: Even if you stopped running your node after a while, you might still be eligible. Contact us with the email associated with your my.noder.bot account.
- Sybil Concerns: None of our clients’ nodes were on the Sybil lists, ensuring a fair distribution.
- Disparity in Rewards: Taiko’s allocation criteria are undisclosed, which is why rewards vary. However, we’ve confirmed a Phase 2 reward for Hekla proposers, with 10% of the supply reserved.
